WORM DRIVE GATE AUTOMATION

Worm driven gate operators are ideal for large and heavy swing gates. They are powerful and reliable machines that will offer years of exceptional service. They are attached to the gate posts and pivot around that attachment point and use a screw type movement to shorten the dimensions and open the gate.

Worm drive motors are ideal if you decide to retro-fit automation at a later date. They are strong, reliable and durable, and only require periodic maintenance. Whilst they are perfect for wooden gates, if you decide to have wrought iron gates fitted to the front of your property, worm drive motors might not be the most desirable solution as the motor arm will be visible through the gaps in the bars. If aesthetics are of primary concern, we recommend having underground motors fitted instead.

ATS

The most versatile Worm Drive motor on the market.

ATS is a very versatile operator and thanks to the telescopic extension it is able to adapt perfectly to the different “depths” of  posts utilising the increased C-Max of 200mm. It features a robust aluminium cover designed for easy ‘installer access’ to mechanical components with simple manual release. Versatile and reliable, both 230V AC and 24V DC versions for intensive use are available. 24V kits are fully compatible with CAME Key, allowing easy setup with any smartphone or tablet - no internet connection required.

AXO

The AXO range has a motor suitable for any application. From 230v residential uses on smaller gates; with the 3 meter version, to opening exceedingly heavy or large gates with the 7 meter version. Combined with the functionality of the ZM3E or ZLX24 control panels, Axo motors the Axo range offers a vast array of functions and is capable of meeting the EN Standards straight out of the box. This ensures unparalleled safety, security and both quicker and cheaper installation. Built-in encoder technology enables constantly monitoring and controlling of the gates' movement, ensuring complete safety.

AMICO

The AMICO swing gate motor offers a great solution for gate automation. The simple worm drive mechanism is convenient and reliable, capable of opening gate wings of 1.8 metres (about 5’11”) weighing up to 200kg. The Amico combined with the ZL90 control panel meets UK Safety laws in relation to power output of the gate. This makes it easier for us to deliver a safe, building-regulations compliant automated gate without the need for excessive additional accessories, helping to keep costs and installation time to a minimum.
